If you are involved with advanced networking, data center design, or virtualization, you may enjoy Ivan Pepelnjak’s website, http://blog.ioshints.info.
Thankfully it is not specific to just Cisco hardware, though there are some highly technical how-to’s. It also includes personal insight and justification on good design, reasonable topology, setting proper expectation, and doing the ‘right’ things on enterprise networks based on his years of experience in the field. This includes avoiding fad technology, buzzwords, and other ill-advised, new-wave designs.
The blog is about what you *should do* not what you *can do* with respect to networking, data center design, and virtualization.
I’ve been looking for a site like this for a while.
